Tracee Lee Padilla was born with music in her heart from the time she was five-years-old while growing up in Spain to A/G missionaries.  Her love for the piano and singing always drew her heart toward a deeper connection with the Lord, which then led her into songwriting and leading worship.

Her dream was to become a professional Christian artist and travel across the United States and beyond, but the Lord had other plans.  By the time she was 23 years old, the door kept opening worship opportunities before her to lead worship in church.  Not fully relinquishing her childhood dream, she still willingly jumped in, but with an inner struggle.  By the time she was 26 years old, through a time of deep pursuit and seeking God for direction in her life and now a mother of two young children, she felt the Lord stir in her heart that He was truly calling her to be a full-time worship leader.  It was more about obedience to what the Lord wanted over what she ‘thought’ she wanted.  From that day forward, she fully embraced all that God had in store for her which led to leading worship at Conferences of 3000 women gathering together, to Retreats in Oklahoma and Tennessee, doing missions work in Ireland and leading worship for many retreats and churches across the island -- to leading worship on staff in Oklahoma and Tennessee.

After having spent 20 years in ministry, she took a sabbatical for six years to spend time in personal growth and reflection and to focus on her family of three children who are now young adults.  In that time, her heart’s call has been, “God put me where You need me.”  From leading worship for the Pre-K and Handicapped classes, or Youth Ministry, she wanted to spend this time pouring out what God had given her in areas of ministry where the needs were the greatest.

As Worship Pastor of Lift Church, her greatest passion and desire is for the spotlight to be on Jesus and to lead others into a deeper and more real walk with God through the power of worshipping the One who made us.

“There’s no one quite like you among the gods, O Lord, and nothing to compare with your works.  All the nations you made are on their way, ready to give honor to you, O Lord, Ready to put your beauty on display, parading your greatness, And the great things you do—God, you’re the one, there’s no one but you!”  Psalm 86:9-10 (MSG)
